MEDS has helped in the development of the following voluntary and community organisations and supported them through mentoring and capacity building.

LIVERPOOLLIFE NEWSPAPER

Liverpoollife is a free community newspaper serving the South Central Liverpool area.

Set up as a social enterprise, its aim is to let local people know what is happening within their community and within the city at large.

With a circulation of 25,000 copies increasing to 50,000 by November 2010, Liverpoollife endeavours to act as the most effective information exchange between the statutory, private and voluntary sectors and the local community.

A unique feature of the paper is its bilingual section in Arabic, Somali, Urdu and Bengali.
