MEDS is a specialist black and ethnic minority (BEM) business advocacy, advice and support agency working with new and existing businesses and social enterprises. We also capacity build voluntary & community organisations. We aim to help faith and BEM enterprises grow and be sustainable.

We deliver new business start-ups, business growth support, free business advice and training seminars for business start-up, SME and third sector clients. We have been providing our service to Faith and BEM Communities for over 7 years, assisting over 300 small businesses including start-ups and helped to create over 350 jobs during this time. We have also given advice and guidance to 70 third sector organisations and mentored 80 individuals.

MEDS is a Company Limited by Guarantee which has a Board of 12 local people from the Public, Private and Third Sector. It is run by members of the BEM Communities for members of the BEM Communities.
